The fall trail work is basically complete – there was some beaver dam activity in a low spot and some final clean up of downed trees was needed after last springs late/heavy snow. That’s good news as there was snow on the ground in Marquette county this morning. This is the second time snow is on the ground in the higher elevations! Ski trails on the NTN Forestville system should be ready to go as well after some clean up after the spring/summer logging activity.
Mowing and widening out of some spots was also needed on the west end to get ready for the use of the new PistenBully! We are really excited about the trail this year especially with the plan to finish back at the NMU Superior Dome.
