Overnight grooming reports out of Forestville are that despite best efforts there was not enough new snow to set classic track. What snow did recently fall was very dry/fluffy lake effect and it did not mix well with the hard base underneath.

On the horizon there is the potential for some snow to arrive Sunday night into Monday with wrap around lake effect potential on the back side that will continue into mid next week. The forecast is, at this time, not calling for our area to get much out of this clipper system. The lake effect potential on the back side is right now forecasted to primarily impact the West and Northwest wind snow belts.

We will keep watching the forecasts!
