Trail Report 1/18/17
Last night’s freezing temperatures set up the snow for grooming and skiing in the morning but by noon today the trails were soft. Skiers have been encouraged to stay off the trails if they are softened to the point where skis are damaging the surface. Temperatures tonight should hover around or just below freezing as well which is a positive. Much of the upper portion of the course is tree covered and that too will help the trails hold snow through the warm up better than areas that are exposed. Planning and preparation continues. More information will be provided as it is available.
